Allegro Pay card on Garmin, Xiaomi and Swatch watches

Allegro is increasingly boldly entering the fintech services market. The recently introduced Allegro Pay card, created in cooperation with Visa, is now available in Garmin, Xiaomi and Swatch digital wallets.

At the end of September, Allegro introduced its own Visa payment card, which is an extension of the Allegro Pay service. It will be possible to pay with a card – plastic or digital – using the “buy now, pay later” method in online and stationary stores.

Initially, the Allegro Pay card in its digital version worked only with Google Pay, which somewhat limited the possibilities of its use. However, as reported by Cashless.pl, now the Allegro Pay card can also be added to another card digital wallet, i.e. Garmin Paywhich was already noticed by the first users. Additionally, Allegro confirmed that users can also use the card Xiaomi Pay and Swatch Pay systems. All three of these solutions allow you to use contactless payments using brand watches or wristbands. As Cashless.pl suggests, the Allegro Pay card will also be available at the beginning of 2024 for Apple Pay users.

Allegro comes out with a card outside Allegro

The Allegro Pay card is offered to first users in physical and digital form. It is becoming more and more popular BNPL deferred payment mechanism and allows you to pay for purchases outside Allegro – in any store or service point from the amount of PLN 30 up to the limit granted in Allegro Pay.

The payment deadline for each transaction is postponed for 30 daysand users can also decide to pay in installments – there are options to choose from 3, 5, 10, 20 or 30.

Currently on Allegro Pay card you can only sign upand the sales platform makes it available to a selected group of customers, which is to be expanded over time. Over 2 million users have already used payments in the Allegro Pay system, and according to the platform’s estimates, in 2025 several hundred thousand customers will use the card.
