The first performance results of Apple’s latest processor: M4 Pro have just appeared. The results are impressive.
Impressive performance at a much lower price
As shown by Geekbench 6 measurements, the M4 Pro is the fastest Apple processor recorded in the database so far. Until now, this name belonged to the 24-core M2 Ultra, which can be found in the Mac Studio computer.
This is interesting because the Mac mini with the 14-core M4 Pro achieved 22,094 points in multi-core operations, and the 24-core M2 – 21,351. So the Mac mini with M4 Pro costing PLN 7,499 is more efficient than the Mac Studio with M2 Ultra priced at PLN 20,999.
As far as direct comparisons of the Pro line go, well M4 Pro is 45% faster than the most powerful version M3 Pro in multi-core performanceas evidenced by 22,094 points. in Geekbench 6 of the new Mac mini with M4 Pro compared to the 12-core MacBook Pro with M3 Pro (15,282 points).
It is worth emphasizing that the results of the M4 Pro will certainly be surpassed by the M4 Max – the most powerful chip designed by Apple for 2024, however, no Geekbench 6 measurement data has appeared for the M4 Max at this time.
The latest family of Macs with M4 processors will go on sale on November 8, 2024.
