The decision is surprising because preparations for the premiere were at an advanced stage. Processor samples were even sent to manufacturers of motherboards and computer sets, and the model itself appeared in leaks. This suggests that the project was real and not just a concept on paper.
According to information provided to partners, Intel explains the change in strategy with greater emphasis on profitability and sensible segmentation. Cheaper models are to remain in current plans Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plusthat will fill the upper and middle part of the offer without excessive duplication of specifications.
According to previous information, Intel Core Ultra 9 290K Plus was supposed to offer 24 cores and 24 threads with timing up to 5.8 GHz. However, please note that these are the last steps of the LGA 1851 platform – the series will appear at the end of the year Intel Nova Lake and socket motherboards LGA 1954.
