A “new” big player on the smartphone market. They want to come back

Amazon has already tried its hand at the smartphone market once. Fire Phone, as it was called, turned out to be a complete failure. This is one of the biggest financial mishaps of Jeff Bezos and company. However, the company does not intend to give up. Unofficially, it is said that Amazon wants to try again.

Amazon is currently developing a project called Transformer. This name is to be a new smartphone that would be deeply integrated with Alexa and the company’s services.

Unofficial information shows that the device will rely heavily on artificial intelligence. Many tasks are expected to be handled by an AI assistant, with less reliance on the classic app store and manual installation of programs. The phone is also intended to connect users with Amazon services on a daily basis, such as shopping, Prime Video, Prime Music or ordering food.

Importantly, the project is still in its early phase. The price, market launch date and specifications are unknown. In fact, the device may end up in the trash at any time if Amazon representatives decide that the idea has no chance of success.
