Will YouTube Premium be cheaper? There will be new packages
YouTube Premium may receive new packages. Perhaps users will be able to purchase a cheaper subscription without ads.
Google wants to convince users to buy a YouTube Premium subscription at all costs. If you don’t do this, you will have to watch ads, which are increasingly difficult to block using browser plug-ins. Soon they may no longer make sense, because YouTube is preparing new packages, including perhaps a cheaper one.
New YouTube Premium packages
On the official Google blog, one of YouTube’s employees – signed as Hazel – admitted that work on new Premium packages is underway. He did not reveal any details, but one of the fragments suggests that one of the options will allow you to share the ad-free version with your friends.

Personally, I would prefer a cheaper YouTube Premium package that would be devoid of some options that are unnecessary to me. I don’t use YouTube Music at all (I have Spotify for that) and YouTube Kids (I don’t have kids). That’s why I’d be happy to buy a package that would allow me to watch YouTube without ads and in higher quality, but at a slightly lower price than now.
YouTube Premium currently costs PLN 25.99 in Poland for a single user or PLN 46.99 in the family version (for up to 6 people). Additionally, students can buy the first package for PLN 14.99.
