Żabka with another unusual novelty. Your phone will thank you for it

According to the website newshandlowe.pl, the new service is already operational, but remains currently in the testing phase. Most likely, after the pilot, Żabka will fully announce its new product and all customers will be able to use it.

The new service was created in cooperation with Voltrush power bank rental. The company operates in Warsaw, and the map in the application shows that its own points are available in 226 locations. However, Voltrush announces further expansion to other cities in Poland, which will undoubtedly be helped by the partnership with Żabka.

To use the power bank rental in Żabka or other locations, you need the Voltrush application, where you can check the nearest point and select rental time: 2, 6 or 24 hours. The service can be used by people aged 13 and over. Importantly, the power bank does not have to be returned to the same place where it was borrowed. Return is possible at any point Voltrush.

Why would anyone rent a power bank instead of bringing such equipment from home? The target customer may be, for example tourists who have run out of power on their phones while exploring the city. Such an accessory may also be helpful for anyone who simply forgot their own charger or underestimated the phone’s battery life. In many cafes and other similar places, you often see people who connect to borrowed chargers – an alternative is to rent a power bank.

Żabka has been developing for a long time a set of additional services – from sending and receiving parcels, through various payments and top-ups, to more unusual options such as ordering a taxi. The new service is therefore a logical complement to such an offer.
