Microsoft prepares Windows 11 for the operation of monitors very high refresh rate. In the latest system builds, there is information that displays can now report frequency higher than 1000 Hz. According to Blur Busters, change may open the way to even support the 5000 Hz level. From an image quality standpoint, a higher refresh rate means smoother movement and less blurso development in this direction makes sense, although today such values sound very abstract.
