A trap in PKO BP. They defraud customers on a massive scale
PKO BP bank cannot keep up with chasing fraudsters who impersonate its website. The Polish Financial Supervision Authority’s CSIRT comes to the rescue by detecting these fraudulent practices and publicizing them in the media. Here is another case of fraud that has appeared on the Internet.
We are still not safe online, especially if we are customers of this popular bank. CSIRT KNF has just issued another warning alert to all those who use the services of the PKO BP bank. All this as part of the campaign marked with the hashtag #ThinkB4UClick.
It is once again warned, to carefully check the email address of the banking website before logging in. A fake website impersonating your bank’s website has only one goal – to steal your login and account password. In the example given, the appearance of the website and logo do not raise suspicions, but the Internet address does greengrowesttechnology.com it doesn’t even look like a bank address. Let’s be vigilant and look twice before entering any data.
