Manufacturers are preparing a flood of new motherboards
Those putting together a new computer system will have plenty to choose from. Motherboard manufacturers are already ready for new Intel and AMD processors.
Both IntelWhat AMD is preparing to launch new processors for desktop computers. In the first case, we are talking about the family Arrow Lakeand in the second one about the series Ryzen 9000. Their premieres are planned for October and the end of July this year.
There will be models in mATX and mITX formats
CPUs from Reds will continue to use the socket AMD AM5so they will be supported by existing motherboards. However, platforms with chipsets will be introduced to the market AMD800. In the case of the Blues, we will have to switch from the LGA 1700 socket to LGA1851and so it will be necessary to buy new motherboards.
In the database of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) entries were found regarding boards from companies such as: Colorful and GIGABYTE. The first of them is preparing as many as 30 different models for Intel Arrow Lake. More expensive designs with the Intel Z890 chipset dominatewhich will be the first to hit the market. However, the offer will also include cheaper platforms with Intel B860 and H810, and even W880. We are talking about all formats – ATX, mATX and mITX.

GIGABYTE will offer us as many as 13 motherboards for AMD Ryzen 9000 at launch. Five of them with the more advanced AMD X870E chipset, the rest with X870. Here we will also get at least one Mini ITX board, and we are talking about the model GIGABYTE X870I AORUS PRO ICE in white colors.

More details on specifications and pricing will be announced at launch. AMD Ryzen 9000 is set to debut on July 31but the new motherboards will appear much later. Intel Arrow Lake and platforms dedicated to them we expect it only around October.
