Intel Arrow Lake processors will offer 100W lower power consumption
The upcoming Intel Core Ultra 200 processors could make consumers forget about the Blue’s mishap. They are expected to offer much lower power consumption and lower temperatures, while maintaining high clocks and good performance.
Intel is currently in trouble because of the processors Intel Core 13th and 14th Generationwhere selected models have stability and degradation problems. Thus, trust in the American company among technology enthusiasts has fallen significantly, and the Blues are trying to regain it.
Intel Arrow Lake-S will offer 100W lower power consumption
In addition to solving the described situation – new microcode, warranty extension to 5 years and CPU replacement, Intel is also preparing to premiere new systems. We are talking about graphics cards, among others Intel ARC Battlemage and processors Intel Lunar Lake for laptops and Intel Arrow Lake-S for desktop computers.
At a recent press event in China, Intel gave a sneak peek at the new CPUs, saying that thanks to new architectures and manufacturing processes, Intel Arrow Lake-S chips will not have the same issues as Intel Raptor Lake and Raptor Lake Refresh series.

What’s more Intel Core Ultra 200 family is expected to offer 100W lower power consumption. However, this will not come at the cost of lower clock speeds or performance. The information so far indicates that the flagship Intel Core Ultra 9 285K model, equipped with 24 cores and 24 threads, is to reach a clock speed of up to 5.7 GHz.
The Blues also commented on the improved microcode for 13th and 14th generation Intel Core processors. Despite the lower voltages, this will not affect the turbo clocks or overclocking capabilities of the -K and -KS series. Of course, it is worth waiting for the first tests after the update to assess these promises.and this is planned for this month for all motherboards.
