A new version of Star Wars. Premiere on Disney+ soon
Disney+ will premiere the Star Wars series on April 6
The trailer gives us a good idea of what awaits us at the beginning of April. Disney+ did not regret it, but gave us two minutes of a spectacular announcement of the series that will soon appear on the platform’s offer. There are as many as 10 tense episodes waiting for viewers.
The series finale will air on May 4, 2026. This date is not accidental – it is of great importance to Star Wars fans – it is International Star Wars Day. It refers to the iconic quote “May the Force be with you”. Fans often paraphrase it as “May the Fourth be with you”, which has become a common greeting on this day.
The series in question is the work of Dave Filoni and is part of the Star Wars canon. The story takes place after the events of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” and focuses on the fate of Maul, a former Sith Lord.
“Star Wars: Maul – Master of Shadow” – what can we expect?
Certainly a feast for the eyes, at least as far as Star Wars fans are concerned. We are sure of that. As for the plot, it was focused around Maul, who wants to rebuild his empire after the Clone Wars. The action of the series will take us to a planet that has not been reached by the Empire. The two-minute long trailer gives a good idea of what awaits us on the screen. And it must be admitted that it is as it should be – dark, full of tension and there are many elements typical of the entire series.
It is worth mentioning that it is a harvest time for Star Wars fans. They have also been waiting for a long time for the great cinema premiere of “The Mandalorian & Grogu”, which will take place in a few weeks (May 22, 2026). Disney+ apparently wants to make their waiting time more enjoyable by giving them an animated series a month earlier.
Animated series “Star Wars: Maul – Master of Shadows” will appear on the Disney+ platform on April 6, 2026.
