Vivo with a quiet premiere of a small flagship. Russia got it first

Vivo recently showed off its new flagship – Vivo X300 Ultra, presented at MWC 2026. However, at the same time, the Chinese manufacturer quietly showed Vivo X300 FE, another compact model with flagship specifications. You can only be angry at the country where the premiere took place.

The previous model, X200 FE, is available in Poland, so we can suspect that Vivo X300 FE will also appear here. So what to expect?

Vivo X300 FE is a global model from China

In terms of design and technical specifications, Vivo X300 FE is a twin version of the Vivo S50 Pro mini model, which debuted in China in December last year.

The compact flagship is equipped with a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED screen, 1.5K resolution and adaptive refreshment up to 120 Hz. The display offers a high peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits and eye-friendly PWM dimming with a frequency of 4,320 Hz. The second-generation ultrasonic fingerprint reader is also integrated in the screen.

The structural element of the phone is a solid frame made of aircraft aluminum, and the entire casing is highly resistant to dust and water, which is confirmed by the IP68 and IP69 certificates.

The heart of Vivo X300 FE is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (3 nm) system, which is a slightly slower, non-Elite version. There is also 12 GB of fast RAM in the LPDDR5X Ultra standard and 256 GB or 512 GB of UFS 4.1 data space on board.

The photo section consists primarily of a main camera with a resolution of 50 Mpix with a Sony IMX921 sensor, f/1.57 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). It is accompanied by an 8 Mpix ultra-wide-angle camera and a 50 Mpix unit (Sony IMX882) with a periscope telephoto lens and 3x optical zoom. On the front there is a 50 Mpix selfie camera with autofocus.

Despite the relatively small size of the phone and a thickness of about 8 mm, the manufacturer managed to fit a powerful battery with a capacity of 6500 mAh. The battery supports 90W wired fast charging as well as 40W wireless charging.

The whole thing works under the control of Android 16 with OriginOS 6, and the manufacturer declares long support including 5 years of operating system updates and 7 years of security patches.
