Samsung Galaxy Buds4 officially. Such functions have never existed before

Samsung’s new headphones have a refreshed look with a metal finish and a modified housing shape. The Galaxy Buds4 Pro model is equipped with a two-way speaker system consisting of an 11 mm woofer and a 5.4 mm tweeter. This version supports UHG 24-bit/96 kHz high resolution audio.

The basic Galaxy Buds4 model has a single 11 mm dynamic driver. The manufacturer used Super-Wideband technology in both variants, which allows voice transmission during calls in a band of up to 16 kHz. The headphones use DNN algorithms and a VPU module to separate the user’s voice from ambient noise.

Both versions use the Bluetooth 6.1 connectivity standard. The Pro variant boasts an IP57 resistance certificate, while the standard model meets the IP54 standard.

Samsung has introduced new ways to interact with your device without using your hands. The headphones recognize head gestures, which allows you to answer calls by nodding or reject them by shaking them. Standard control is via pinches and swipes on touch panels.

The devices are integrated with AI assistants such as Gemini and Bixby. The user can issue voice commands (Galaxy Buds4 Pro) to play music, adjust the volume or check notifications. The Interpreter function allows you to use real-time translation directly through the headphones (both models).

The Adaptive Noise Control system automatically adjusts the noise reduction level to the prevailing conditions. The Pro model has a five-step ANC mode adjustment.

Galaxy Buds4 Pro are powered by batteries with a capacity of 61 mAh in the headphones and 530 mAh in the charging case. This allows for a maximum of 30 hours of operation with noise reduction turned off. With ANC turned on, this time is reduced to 26 hours, including the energy reserve in the case. Without the case we have 6 or 7 hours (without ANC or with ANC), respectively.

The Galaxy Buds4 model is equipped with 45 mAh cells in the headphones and 515 mAh in the case. The devices offer up to 30 hours of operation without ANC or 24 hours with active noise reduction (5 or 6 hours without a case). A full cycle of phone calls on a single charge is approximately 3.5 to 5 hours, depending on the model and settings.

The headphones are already available for pre-order in several color variants (regular sales will start on March 11). The Galaxy Buds4 Pro model will be available in black, white and rose gold colors. The basic Galaxy Buds4 will be available in black and white.
