Samsung is making a revolution in Galaxy AI. The new assistant will come to smartphones

Samsung has officially announced the expansion of the Galaxy AI function. The manufacturer focuses on a multi-agent environment. This means integrating different artificial intelligence models into one device.
The company’s internal data shows a growing demand for such solutions. Almost 80% of people surveyed use at least two different AI assistants. The new strategy of the South Korean manufacturer is a direct response to these preferences.
Perplexity on flagship devices
The most important novelty is the implementation of the Perplexity service, which we have already written about in TELEPOLIS.PL. It is intended to act as an assistant on the upcoming Galaxy flagships. The software will respond to the voice command “Hey Plex”. Users will also turn it on by long pressing the side button of the case.
Artificial intelligence in Samsung devices works at the level of the entire system. Perplexity will also integrate with default applications. The list includes Notes, Clock, Gallery and Calendar. The assistant will also support selected external programs.
This is supposed to be easier for the user
This solution is intended to reduce the need to switch between multiple windows. The software runs in the background and analyzes the user’s current activities. Company representatives announced that they will soon provide more information about supported phone models.
