Optoma is launching another projector that can replace both a gaming monitor and a large TV.
Projectors are a great solution for people who want to enjoy a giant image without leaving home. Of course, such devices have their drawbacks. A good projector can be much more expensive than a TV, and you need to have a large, undeveloped wall at home to fully enjoy the device’s capabilities.
Optoma launches a smart projector for gamers and movie lovers
Optoma introduces another projector to the market. Latest model UHZ55 allows you to display an image in 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels). diagonal up to 300 inches. The device complies with the Rec. 709 standard, which ensures extremely accurate color reproduction, and is compatible with HDR and HLG. We don’t have to worry about image sharpness, brightness and colors, because the manufacturer promises up to 3,000 lumens.
The device supports two very interesting modes. One of them is aimed at cinephiles and delivers displaying videos at 24 frames per second. On the other hand improved game mode in UHZ55 reduces input lag to just 4.2ms, providing the gamer with faster response times. The projector can project image up to 240 frames per second in 1080p or 60 frames in 4K. Three HDMI connectors, including one eARC, allow you to connect even several different devices at the same time, including game consoles.
Thanks Creative Cast app It is possible to wirelessly transfer content from Android, iOS, Windows and MacOS devices and display it using the UHZ55. Once the projector is connected to the Internet, you can also install video and music streaming applications such as YouTube and Spotify. The device is also equipped with a multimedia player, thanks to which we can see photos, videos and documents from disks and USB memory sticks on a large screen.
UHZ55 has built-in speakers, but this model is also WiSA certified, which guarantees the projector’s compatibility with other devices supporting this standard of wireless transmission and reception of very high-quality and delay-free sound.
The Optoma UHZ55 projector is now available in Poland in selected electronics stores and TV showrooms. The device is covered by a two-year manufacturer’s warranty and a five-year (or 12,000 hours) warranty for the light source.
Suggested retail price of the model in question is PLN 8,999.
