Unblocking her account cost her more than she could have imagined
The announcement that caused all the confusion
A resident of the JarosÅ‚aw district found on the Internet, job advertisement. It was a cottage industry of promoting and “liking” products in exchange for remuneration. The offer had one advantage – it seemed simple and promised quick profits. While contacting the people who posted this ad, the 30-year-old was persuaded to do so registration on the investment platform. The employer argued that only in this way would she be able to obtain high profits and then pay them out. And yes, money quickly appeared in her account and could be withdrawn.
Withdrawing profits was no longer so easy
When the 30-year-old decided to withdraw the funds accumulated on the platform, she found out that she had to “unlock the account”. For this purpose, further payments were needed. She didn’t immediately guess that this was a typical method of manipulation aimed at extorting money from her. As a result, the woman gained nothing, but lost PLN 100,000.

- Let’s refrain from registering on unknown platforms investment and do not leave any data on them.
- We also do not make transfers to strangers for us people.
- Honest companies do not require deposits of their own funds for profit purposes, and even more so for the purpose of withdrawing money.
If we are faced with such a request, do not hesitate to contact the bank or report the matter to the police.
