Acer has revealed when its new Intel Lunar Lake processors, also known as Intel Core Ultra 200V, will debut.
Acer has announced another event in the next@acer series, where it will show off its new laptops. The thing is, they will use processors that have not yet officially debuted. This means we know when their premiere will probably take place.
Intel Lunar Lake
The Acer event is scheduled for September 4 and will take place in Berlin, a few days before the start of IFA. We know that the Taiwanese company will show, among other things, new laptops with Intel Core Ultra 200V processors, or the Lunar Lake series. This probably means that the premiere of the systems will take place a day earlier, on September 3. This would be in line with Intel’s earlier announcement, which spoke of the third quarter of this year.

Intel Lunar Lake processors will be the next to be equipped with an NPU (Neural Processing Unit) to handle AI-related tasks. With performance reaching up to 40 TOPS, they will be able to support Copilot+. What’s more, they will be equipped with GPUs with a power of over 60 TOPS, so in total the laptops can offer performance of up to 100 TOPS.
