Sabrent has released a new racket. It is small and efficient
The American SSD manufacturer has expanded its portfolio to include small-format models. Nevertheless, they tempt with high efficiency and a long warranty.
Popularity Valve Steam Deck has resulted in an increasing number of portable consoles on the market. We've gotten it so far ASUS ROG Ally, Lenovo Legion Go, MSI Claw and a whole host of offers from Chinese producers less known in Poland. Many companies have also announced that they are preparing refreshed models.
Sabrent offers up to 5 years of warranty
Of course, in a handheld or UMPC, every millimeter is worth its weight in gold. That's why they often have soldered internal memory or use a smaller SSD. Most of them chose the M.2230 format, but Lenovo, for example, decided to use it M.2 2242. And this is the media the company released Sabrent.
Sabrent Rocket Nano 2242 Gen 4 is a small SSD that uses a controller Phison E27T and memory 3D TLC NAND. It is DRAM-free designwhich uses the interface PCI Express 4.0 x4. Although the manufacturer does not reveal any details about the bones, there are rumors about their use Kioxia BiCS6.

The declared performance reaches up to 5000 MB/s for sequential reading and writing. This is far from the maximum capabilities of PCIe 4.0 x4, but it should be enough for most users.
At launch, Sabrent is releasing a model with a capacity of 1 TB, but the M.2 2242 format creates more space for NAND memory, so in the future we will probably get 2 and 4 TB variants. Unfortunately, the suggested price in Poland has not been revealed. However, we know that the manufacturer provides 5 years warranty.
