Many feared that the next film in the series would disappoint. But it happened completely differently. A miracle happened and the famous series rose from its knees. We’ve been waiting for this for so many years! Surprisingly, it was liked not only by fans of the series, but also by critics. Finally, we can see it not only on VOD, but soon also in streaming.
No embarrassment, but a positive surprise
Director Fede Alvarez rose to the challenge. “Alien: Romulus” has been hailed by many fans as the best film in the series since the original 1979 “Alien: The Eighth Passenger of the Nostromo”, and certainly since James Cameron’s “Alien: The Decisive Engagement” with 1986. It’s a real breath of fresh air in this universe that has been tired for several seasons. Brutal but spectacular. It’s worth letting him “unwind”.
“Alien: Romulus” – a few words about the plot
The film takes us on a journey to the roots of the Alien series. It is set between the events of the first and second parts of the series. A group of young space colonizers search an abandoned space station and come face to face with a terrifying form of life in the universe.
The film was directed by Fede Alvarez. The producers are Ridley Scott (director of the first film in the series), Michael Pruss and Walter Hill.
Where to watch the movie? From October it can be rented on iTunesStore and PrimeVideo for PLN 44.99 or PLN 49.99. We were supposed to watch it on the Disney+ platform as part of the subscription from November 21, but it looks like we will have to wait a little longer for it.
