This is the best sci-fi you will ever see. The long-awaited date has arrived

Last week, there was information about the end of filming for the fourth (and final) season of “Silos”. However, the situation seemed quite absurd to the viewers, because they still had not seen the third season. Moreover, it was not certain when its premiere would take place. And viewers have the right to be impatient, because more than a year has passed since the end of the second season in January 2025.

“Silos” is a dystopian sci-fi thriller starring Rebecca Ferguson, which presents a vision of the future in which the last refuge is a huge underground bunker with 144 levels. It is also absolutely no exaggeration that this series has become one of the loudest hits on Apple TV since its premiere in 2023. It maintained high viewership for the entire two seasons. And for this the creators deserve great applause. It is no wonder that expectations for the third and fourth seasons are growing day by day.

Rebecca Ferguson took pity on fans and gave them a clear hint while promoting the movie “Peaky Blinders: Immortal”. The star confirmed in the Today program that the third season of the series “Silos” will be broadcast in the summer of 2026. Ferguson, asked by the host about when we will see the third season, replied:

This summer. Are you excited? I can’t give a date yet. I don’t know the exact date, but it will be in the summer. Premiere coming soon.

The actress added that there are few series whose plot keeps you in suspense from one season to the next. “Silo” is an exception to the rule. It does not “fall apart” and does not lose quality, but on the contrary – it becomes better and better.

So do we need a better recommendation? Let us remind you that the third season of the series is an adaptation of fragments of the second and third books in Hugh Howey’s series, “Shift, Dust”. However, “Change” focuses mainly on new characters known to viewers from the final episode of the second season. “Dust” returns with the action to Juliette Nichols and her co-inhabitants of “Silo 18”. This therefore explains combining the two books into one installment, rather than keeping the entire cast aside for one season.

It’s understandable that the actress couldn’t reveal the exact release date. Apple TV keeps things like this secret. But it is easy to guess that the premiere will take place after the premiere of the 5th season of the series “For All Mankind”, which was announced for March 27. The appearance of new episodes will last until May 29.
