Windows 10 i 11 w końcu pozwala usunąć irytujący program

Windows finally lets you remove the annoying program

Windows has always been cluttered with many programs that most users do not use at all. One of them can already be removed, and for good.

Windows systems have almost always been littered with many programs that the vast majority of users will never use. The list can go on for a long time, but one of the most irritating is certainly OneDrive. Fortunately, you can get rid of it completely.

How to remove OneDrive from Windows?

Microsoft has been strongly promoting OneDrive, its own cloud service, for several years. In Windows, it has become the default data storage tool. What’s worse, if we do not select the appropriate options during system installation, OneDrive can bombard users with unnecessary notifications, e.g. about synchronization errors, taking a screenshot, and after a while also about the end of space.

Fortunately, Microsoft came to its senses and finally allows you to get rid of the OneDrive cloud for good. The official website of the Redmond company has a guide on how to disconnect a computer from the service, and if the user so desires, how to completely uninstall it.

To do this, you need to right-click on the OndeDrive icon in the system tray, select settings and in the account tab select the “Disconnect this computer” option.

However, if you want to get rid of it completely, then click the system search icon, then type “add or remove programs” and after entering these settings, find OneDrive on the list and uninstall it. During the process, you may be asked for your account password. This applies to Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Microsoft’s new approach is probably caused by changes in regulations, specifically the introduction of the Digital Market Act (DMA) in the European Union.
