OnePlus Nord 6 delayed. We’ll have to wait for the mid-range with 9000 mAh
Although OnePlus Nord 6 has increasingly appeared in leaks and certification databases in recent weeks, everything indicates that its premiere will be delayed again. According to the latest reports from leakster Yogesh Brar, the smartphone is to debut not in February or March, as previously assumed, but only in April. The manufacturer has still not confirmed the existence of the device, but registrations with certification authorities in Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates and Europe suggest that Nord 6 is already at an advanced stage of preparations for its global debut.
The April date is still good news for fans of the Nord series. Previous models in this line usually debuted in June or July. A lot has changed for the manufacturer since the debut of OnePlus Nord 5, and a completely new OnePlus Turbo 6 has also appeared, which is to be the basis of Nord 6.
Unlike previous generations, this time it is not certain whether the Nord CE 6 model will also appear along with the Nord 6. For now, there are no traces of its certification. The Nord 6 itself, in turn, was additionally noticed in the Geekbench database, where it was tested with 12 GB RAM, Android 16 and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 system.
The test confirms speculations that OnePlus Nord 6 will be the twin brother of the Chinese OnePlus Turbo 6. According to leaks, the device will receive a huge 9,000 mAh battery with 80 W fast charging and reverse charging function. The screen is probably over a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz.
The camera set will include a 50 Mpix main unit, an 8 Mpix wide-angle camera and a 16 Mpix front camera. Nord 6 will also offer stereo speakers, an in-screen fingerprint reader, improved vibrations thanks to the X-axis engine and a waterproof housing with an IP68 or IP69 certificate.
