NVIDIA gave up. The new drivers turned out to be a real disaster

NVIDIA has decided to withdraw the latest version of GeForce Game Ready 595.59 drivers just hours after their release. The update was supposed to bring optimizations to the game “Resident Evil Requiem” and support for DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Ray Reconstruction technologies, but it quickly turned out that the software caused serious problems with the operation of graphics cards.

NVIDIA is already investigating the matter and preparing a fix

The manufacturer officially confirmed that an error was detected in the drivers and the download was temporarily blocked. It also said that users who have already installed the affected version and are encountering issues should revert to the previous 591.86 WHQL edition, which remains stable until the situation is clarified.

The problems reported by gamers concern primarily the GeForce RTX 5000 series. The most frequently mentioned symptoms include black screens, system freezes and instability in games. Some users also report sudden crashes and a complete lack of reaction of the card. The scale of the reports is so large that dozens of entries from dissatisfied users appeared on the official NVIDIA forum.

Another significant problem turned out to be fan control. In some cases, they stopped working completely or ignored user settings. There have also been reports of blocked GPU voltage, performance drops, and other irregularities, which indicate that the problem is not limited to a single fault, but may affect a wider range of controller functionality.

NVIDIA is still analyzing the situation and has not provided a release date for the revised version. Users who encounter problems after installing 595.59 should roll back to an earlier version as soon as possible to avoid the risk of instability or potential hardware overheating.
