ING introduces limits on BLIK. Don’t panic

ING Bank Śląski announced the introduction of a new function. It is related to the limits for BLIK transactions. However, customers should not feel outraged. On the contrary, the novelty may prove very useful.

ING is introducing temporary limits on BLIK transactions for all customers. What does this mean? The bank’s customers can now change limits for a specific period of time, e.g. 30 minutes or 12 hours. After this time, they will automatically return to the previous value, without the need to change it manually.

We introduced the solution for the convenience and safety of our customers. Thanks to this, they do not have to maintain higher limits for a longer period of time. We plan to implement a similar solution for card transaction and transfer limits.

This change will be useful when we want to make a larger, but one-time transaction using BLIK. We can change the limit for a moment, without remembering to restore it to the previous level. Of course, it is also possible to change the limit permanently. In this respect, nothing has changed.
