Raijintek Ampere are powerful, high-efficiency power supplies
Better late than never. The well-known Taiwanese manufacturer, Raijintek, presented its new ATX power supplies based on the 12V-2×6 standard.
The most efficient consumer graphics cards are the series NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000, which debuted at the end of 2022. It introduced not only a noticeable jump in performance and much better energy efficiency, but also a new power connector 12VHPWR.
Raijintek Ampere power supplies offer a 7-year warranty
Of course, users of older computer power supplies can successfully use special adapters. However, the appropriate cables going straight from the PSU look much safer and nicer. Therefore, many manufacturers have refreshed their offers with new units.
Raijintek Ampere is a new series of fully modular power supplies, which so far only includes power models 1200 W. We are dealing here with a structure based on a single, powerful +12 V line, Japanese capacitors, DC-DC converters and active PFC. All this translates into efficiency of up to 94% confirmed by certificates 80 PLUS Platinum and Cybenetics Platinum.
The Taiwanese units meet the requirements of the ATX 3.0 standard. They are equipped not only with: a number of security measures – OTP, OPP, SCP, OVP, UVP and OCPbut also cables 12V-2×6i.e. the successor of the 12VHPWR standard.
Raijintek boasts about its use silent fan 120-millimeter. He works at speed up to 2200 RPM and declared work culture up to 32.6 dB(A). Most importantly, it offers semi-passive operation modewhere up to 40% of the load the “propeller” is turned off, and up to 60% the speed does not exceed 830 RPM.
Raijintek Ampere will go on sale soon in two color versions – black and white. Suggested prices have not been revealed. However, we know that the manufacturer provides 7 years warranty.
