Google Chrome update. You probably didn’t even notice this change

Google Chrome is a browser used by over 2/3 of mobile device users. Now it has received a small update. So slight that most may not even notice the change has occurred.

Google systematically updates the Chrome browser for Android. Sometimes the changes introduced are really big and are either intended to improve security or the user experience. However, even more often these are small novelties that are difficult to notice at first glance. This is also the case here.

What’s changed in Google Chrome 145 for Android is the home icon next to the address bar, which Google calls Omnibox. Previously, it was a house with a visible roof. Now it is a house with scratched doors. Clicking the icon does exactly what it’s supposed to do, which is take you to the browser’s home page. We can set it ourselves in Chrome settings.

If you want to check what version of the browser you have on your phone, you need to go to settings, applications and find Google Chrome on the list. The home page icon has been changed in release 145.
