Do you have such a laptop? Well, then you have a problem

The new Windows 11 update causes a very unusual glitch that significantly impedes the use of laptops. Samsung devices are primarily affected by the problem.

The problem is caused by the February Windows 11 security update (KB5077181). Users, especially of Samsung laptops, may lose access to the C drive, where the operating system and often the most important applications are installed. Even though Windows itself starts, when I try to move to the C partition, I get a message that it is inaccessible.

According to information provided by Microsoft, the problem primarily affects Samsung devices, including the Galaxy Book 4 models that use Windows 11 in versions 24H2 and 25H2. At the same time, the Redmond company does not say that the defect only occurs on computers from the Korean manufacturer, so in theory it could happen to anyone.

The cause is unknown for now, but the problem may be caused by the Samsung Share app. It also does not occur in specific situations or scenarios. The problem appears at random times, causing users to lose access to the C partition, including files and installed programs stored there.
