Update Windows. Microsoft fixes a critical bug
It is worth downloading the latest update to Windows 11, especially if you have problems logging in to other Microsoft services. This is exactly the problem it aims to solve.
The problem occurred after installing the KB5079473 cumulative update. Some Windows 11 users have noticed that they cannot log in to other Microsoft services and applicationsincluding the Edge browser, the OneDrive cloud, or Word or Excel. Each time they received a message that they were not connected to the Internet, which of course was not true.
Due to this issue, when you try to log in, you receive an error message that reads something like: “This requires an Internet connection. It appears that you are not connected to the Internet.” This message appears even when the device is connected to the Internet.
Fortunately, the Redmond company has already released a new update to solve this problem. It was marked as KB5085516. Includes previous fixes while also addressing a bug related to logging into other applications and services. The update is available for Windows 11 users in versions 25H2 and 24H2.
