The best phones up to PLN 2,000? Xiaomi POCO X8 Pro and Pro Max take no prisoners

The new series of Xiaomi smartphones has been talked about for a long time and here they are finally here. Three devices from the POCO X8 Pro series debuted on global markets, and their Polish prices are surprisingly favorable. It promises to be a market hit.

The new POCO X8 Prro series smartphones share a minimalist design with relatively small camera islands, which, according to the manufacturer, are supposed to resemble racetrack. An additional element is RGB light ringwhich visually reacts to notifications, games or the charging process.

The new products from the POCO X8 Pro series are characterized by high durability – the displays are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, and the casings ensure resistance to dust and water in the IP68 standard. POCO X8 Pro Max has also achieved the 5-star SGS Premium Performance certification.

The higher-ranking Max model has a metal frame and a fiberglass back. The smartphone is equipped with a screen AMOLED with a diagonal of 6.83 inches1.5K resolution (2772 x 1280) and 120 Hz refresh rate, with a peak brightness of up to 3500 nits. An ultrasonic fingerprint reader is integrated into the screen.

The heart of the X8 Pro Max is the new MediaTe chipk Dimensity 9500s (cores up to 3.73 GHz) made in a 3-nanometer technological process, working with fast LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 data space. The manufacturer boasts of a high result 3,085,998 points in AnTuTu.

The phone has a wide range of accessories, including the network 5G, Wi-Fi 7, eSIM card supporta module for offline communication without Xiaomi Offline Communication network coverage and symmetrical speakers with Dolby Atmos and a 400 percent volume boost mode.

The photography section consists of the main camera 50 Mpix with matrix Light Fusion 600 and optical image stabilization (OIS). It is helped by an ultra-wide-angle camera 8 Mpixand on the front there is a 20 Mpix selfie unit.

The advantage of POCO X8 Pro Max is undoubtedly powerful battery with a capacity of 8500 mAhoffering fast charging 100W HyperCharge and reverse charging with a power of 27 W.

The smartphone works under the control of the latest Xiaomi HyperOS 3 system, providing extensive artificial intelligence functions, including Google Gemini and Circle to Search.

The lower positioned POCO X8 Pro model is equipped with: 6.59-inch AMOLED display 1.5K 120 Hz which also reaches a brightness of up to 3500 nits.

The system is responsible for the computing power MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultraworking in tandem with LPDDR5X and UFS 4.1 memories. Users can use a 5G modem, Wi-Fi 6, NFC connectivity, Xiaomi Offline Communication technology and stereo speakers supporting Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos formats.

The main camera is located on the back of the case 50 Mpix with a Sony IMX882 sensor supported by optical image stabilization (OIS) and an ultra-wide-angle camera 8 Mpixwhile on the front there is a 20 Mpix unit.

Long operating time is guaranteed by a silicon-carbon cell with a capacity of 6500 mAhwhich can also be charged with a power of 100 W or used as a powerbank, charging other devices with a power of 27 W. Everything is controlled by the Xiaomi HyperOS 3 operating system.

Special variant POCO X8 Pro – Iron Man Edition was created as part of close cooperation with the Marvel brand, distinguished by black and gold colors strongly referring to the characteristic Stark Industries armor.

Fans can count on a built-in flash characterized by the famous arc reactor and a specially prepared, thematic user interface. Everything is also for sale in an eye-catching set.
