Netflix’s Biggest Hit Gets Official Premiere Date: But That’s Not All
We’ve learned the official premiere date for the second season of the cult series “Squid Game”. The creators revealed it in a short sports-themed trailer. But that’s not the end of the good news.
The long-awaited second season of Squid Game has finally got a premiere date. And it’s official. The date was revealed via a sports-themed teaser. Thanks to it, we know that the second season is set to premiere on December 26, 2024.
One thing is certain, there is a real chance that fans Squid Game will end this year’s Christmas in excellent spirits. They will receive a dream gift under the Christmas tree from the manufacturer.
This is not the end of good news, with the release of the official trailer of the new series, it was announced that the third, final season will be filmed. It is to end the entire Korean series in 2025.
The second season Squid Game will be released three years after the premiere of the first series. It is a continuation of the story of Seong Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae), who once again takes part in a game where human life is at stake. This time, however, the hero will not only be interested in quick money, but also in revenge.
Seong Gi-hun, who swore revenge at the end of Season 1, returns and rejoins the game. Front Man also does not seem like an easy opponent. The fierce conflict between their two worlds will continue until the series finale in Season 3, which will be presented to you next year. I am excited to see how the seed that was planted during the creation of the new Squid Game grows and bears fruit.
– wrote the creator of the series, Hwang Dong-hyuk, to fans.
Given the high mortality rate of the characters, it is unlikely that we will see any of the previous cast in the second season. We will probably have a lot of surprises in this regard. Gi-hun will have to face the game supervisor Front Man. We will have to wait patiently until the end of the year to find out who from the previous series survived.
