Ulefone RugKing 5 Pro. 20,000 mAh battery, powerful lamp and a price for everyone

Ulefone RugKing 5 Pro has just been released, and it will go on sale globally in just a few days, on March 16. The manufacturer touts that the new product is a more affordable alternative to the popular Ulefone Armor 24 model, which is why there is some similarity between them. And just like the original, RugKing 5 Pro is not only extremely durable (IP68, IP69K, MIL-STD-810H), but also unfortunately heavy (629 grams) and thick (26.5 mm).

The biggest advantage of the RugKing 5 Pro model is its powerful battery with a capacity of up to 20,000 mAh, designed for users who stay away from sockets. The cell supports charging with a power of 33 W, and thanks to the reverse charging function, the smartphone can easily act as a capacious power bank for other devices.

Similarly to the Armor 24 model, the manufacturer placed a large camping lamp on the rear panel, which, thanks to 1,202 built-in LED diodes, generates light with a brightness of up to 1,200 lumens. The lamp provides an additional source of light when camping, night hiking or emergency repairs in the field. Combined with such a large battery, it will glow for long hours.

Ulefone RugKing 5 Pro is equipped with a 6.78-inch IPS screen with Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 246) with 60 Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It offers a maximum brightness of 910 nits, which may not be a record, but sufficient to ensure that the screen remains readable in the field.

New to the series is the Water-Lock mode, which, when activated, completely disables the touchscreen, preventing accidental clicks caused by raindrops or full immersion in water. As Ulefone praises, this solution has been designed especially for swimmers, cyclists and lovers of extreme expeditions.

The budget nature of the battleship is revealed by its components. The heart of the smartphone is the Unisoc T7250 chip, working with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of internal memory in the UFS 2.1 standard. The data space can be expanded using a microSD card with a capacity of up to 2 TB. This won’t provide high performance, but it should be enough for basic tasks in the field.

The phone allows you to install two nano SIM cards, supports 4G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi and an NFC module supporting Google Pay contactless payments.

The photo section includes a 64 Mpix main camera with an OmniVision OV64B40 matrix and an additional 20 Mpix night vision camera (IMX350), allowing you to take photos in complete darkness. There is a 16 Mpix selfie unit on the front.

The whole thing works under the control of the latest Android 16 system with AI additions.

Sales of the Ulefone RugKing 5 Pro model will start in all official online stores of the brand on March 16, 2026. The manufacturer has prepared a special starting offer, under which the smartphone is valued at approximately PLN 990. The device should also come to Poland soon, then its price will be slightly higher, but an attractive price is still expected.
