Google News with the change many have been waiting for. It makes it a lot easier
Google Messages, an application for, among other things, SMS in Android, should soon receive a function that many users have been waiting for. Its tests have already started.
New in Google News
This is about the Smart Replay function. They have been available in the app for some time, but the problem is that they cannot be edited in any way before sending. This has finally been changed in the Google News beta (version 20260303_00_RC00).
Now the app allows you to edit smart replies before sending them. Thanks to this, you can correct any errors or typos, but also expand the message with additional information.
You can turn on smart replies in the application settings. To do this, you need to click on your profile icon in the upper right corner and then select “Messages application settings”. Then go to the “Suggestions” tab and activate “Smart Reply”.
Remember, however, that the new feature that allows you to edit the message before sending it is currently only available in beta version. It will probably be released in a stable release within a few days or weeks.
