The ZTE G5 Ultra is one of the fastest routers currently available on the market, which debuted at the end of last year. Now it is included in Orange’s offer, and the operator positions it as a gaming model – although, of course, it will work in any scenario.

Thanks to MLO, it reaches up to 19 Gb/s

Thanks to network support 5G in SA and NSA modesthe device allows you to achieve a maximum throughput of up to 4.29 Gbps during download and 320 Mbps when sending data.

In practice, this means that large files can be downloaded without any problemsh updates, streaming gameplay in high resolution and using voice communicators at the same time, without fear of liquidity drops or sudden delays. Fast upload will certainly be appreciated by streamers who want to maintain the highest image quality, even during dynamic scenes.

The MC8512 model is working in three frequency ranges (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz) and supports technology Multi-Link Operation (MLO). The total theoretical throughput for all bands is an impressive 19 Gbps. Thanks to MLO support, the router can transmit data using multiple bands simultaneously.

For the user, this means reliability and immunity to interference – in case of problems with one band, the movement smoothly takes over the others. Moreover, tri-band operation makes it easier to organize your home network. While one user plays on the PC using the fastest 6 GHz band, the rest of the household can freely watch 4K video on the 5 GHz band without burdening each other’s connection.

The distinguishing feature of the ZTE G5 Ultra is Native support for GearUP technology. This solution was created to optimize connections to the servers of the most popular multiplayer games. The integration of GearUP directly at the router level is great news, especially for console owners who gain the ability to reduce latency without having to install external tools. However, please note that using GearUP requires paying a subscription to the service provider.
