WhatsApp for subscription. The messenger is preparing fees
WhastApp is free. At the same time, it is one of the most popular messengers in the world. No wonder the Meta company, which owns the application, wants to make money from it. That’s why it plans to introduce paid elements.
Paid WhatsApp
WhatsApp is preparing a paid subscription for messenger users that will allow them to get rid of ads in the application. However, this will not be the only option available for a fee. New, paid elements have appeared in the latest test version of WhatsApp.
The new subscription is intended to give users access to additional elements. These include premium stickers, app themes, new ringtones and the ability to pin more than 3 chats. In addition, subscribers will be able to choose the appearance of the application icon from options prepared by graphic designers.
It is worth emphasizing that these are functions and elements that have already appeared in the test version of WhatsApp. It cannot be ruled out that there will ultimately be more of them. Meta may also add additional additions for users of the paid version over time.
At the moment, it is not known when the subscription will be introduced to the messenger. The price is also unknown. However, interested users can subscribe to a special list. Thanks to this, they will be the first to be informed about the introduction of a paid plan.
The new feature appeared in WhatsApp beta for Android in version 2.26.4.8so it is not yet available to all users using the stable release.
