The second season of the hit series “The Old Man” returns to the Disney+ platform. The first season exceeded the wildest viewing expectations, and the trailer of the second season encouraged people to watch the next series. The second season will debut on the platform today, November 6. The platform makes all episodes available immediately, so we can treat ourselves to a real marathon.

Disney+ is a platform that tries to fill with interesting productions, also in Poland. The series “The Old Man” was announced very loudly, hence the expectations for the second part. Polish users on the Filmweb website rated the series 7/10, which is such a high score that it encourages even the more skeptical viewers to watch it. Anyone who likes the criminal atmosphere of the United States and productions like this Diplomathe should be satisfied.

What is the series “The Old Man” about?

Former CIA agent Dan Chase (played by Jeff Bridges) and former FBI Deputy Director Harold Harper (John Lithgow) set out to search for the missing Emily Chase (Alia Shawkat). This is their most important mission – to rescue Emily Chase, who was kidnapped by Faraz Hamzad (Navid Negahban), an influential Afghan leader. They have to hurry because, as is often the case in this type of production, time is not on their side. The stakes are rising with every moment and dark secrets are revealed. One thing is certain – there is no threat of boredom.

The series “The Old Man” was based on the best-selling novel of the same title by Thomas Perry. The screenplay and adaptation for television were created by Jonathan E. Steinberg and Robert Levine. The series was produced by 20th Television in association with The Littlefield Company.
