Cash limits. This is how much you will pay per month or an additional commission

Recently, both Euronet and Planet Cash have introduced limits on cash withdrawals from ATMs using BLIK. The first operator set them at PLN 200, and the second one makes the limits dependent on the location and profitability of a given device. Now the British fintech Wise has decided to take a similar step, although unrelated to BLIK.

Fintech Wise, in correspondence to its Polish customers, informed about changes in ATM withdrawal limits. These will enter into force on March 1, 2026. Until now, customers could withdraw a maximum of PLN 1,000 per month in two transactions. Therefore, the limit was not only in amount, but also in terms of the number of withdrawals. After that, the fintech charged additional fees of 1.75%.

The rules have been changing since March. The monthly limit will still be PLN 1,000, but there may be more transactions, so it is possible to withdraw, for example, 5 times PLN 200. At first glance, the change seems beneficial. The problem is that after exceeding the limit, the commission will be 2.69% from March 1. In addition, Wise charges PLN 2.50 for each transaction, including those within the mentioned limits.
