Hell has frozen over. Cheap headphones from Action got ANC

I’m not going to comment on the quality of the headphones themselves or the sound they generate, because I didn’t have them in my hands. However, the description left on the website is surprisingly competent. Solix SL-700, because these are the markings they carry, despite the low price, clearly emphasize what we can count on.

Let’s start with ANC. Here, the manufacturer boasts a reduction of up to 25 dB. And it is worth emphasizing that this is not half the value of 50 dB, which top headphone manufacturers boast in their flagship devices. This is because decibels are expressed on a logarithmic scale. The difference between them is not two but more than three hundred times.

This means that the Solix SL-700 will be able to muffle the noise of the street outside the window, fan or air conditioner, but it will not mute conversations in the background.

The battery issue is also interesting. Here Action talks about 35 hours of operation using the charging case. However, it doesn’t mention how much the headphones can play without it being included.
