Fraudsters are looking for seniors, but sometimes they can be very disappointed. Not every senior is so gullible that he can be intimidated and will follow the instructions of fraudsters without a murmur. An 88-year-old from Białystok taught the fraudster a harsh lesson.

An 88-year-old from Białystok outsmarted fraudsters who tried to extort money from him policeman method.
The fraudster called a man and pretended to be a policeman who was busting a criminal group that was extorting money from seniors. To help catch criminals, the 88-year-old was asked to prepare all his savings and leave them in a bag on the doormat.
The fraudster must have been severely disappointed because the senior, although he seemed gullible, showed incredible presence of mind and cunning.
The senior immediately guessed that he was talking to a fraudster, but continued the conversation. He said he had PLN 40,000 at home and, pretending to count the money, packed tissues in a shopping bag.

The man covered the handkerchiefs with low denomination banknotes so that the top looked like a shopping bag full of money.. But that’s not the end of the trick. He attached a string to the bagwhich he tied around his own hand. Then, he closed the door and waited patiently for an attempt to take the money.
Still on the line with the scammer, the senior felt a tug. He helped someone on the other side for a while, but eventually he managed to snatch the plastic bag from the hands of the fake policeman. The scared criminal escaped without the valuable loot. Not only did the senior not allow himself to be robbed, but he also went to the police station to give his testimony.
