Google Pixel 10a debuts. Seven years of updates and new AI features

The heart of the device Google Pixel 10a there is a deal G4 tensorjust like in its predecessor. It provides support for local artificial intelligence models. The software integrates an assistant Gemini and gives access to the mode Gemini Live. It allows you to conduct natural voice conversations with the system. Google has also implemented the feature “Select to search”. The tool allows you to circle an item on the screen to find information about it on the web.

The manufacturer has expanded the system calling application. The program supports call filtering and option “Wait for me”. The system protects the user against spam and facilitates contact with hotlines. The tool debuted in the software Nano Banana. It is used to generate new graphics, edit images and combine multiple photos into new compositions.

The smartphone was received two cameras on the rear panel. The main module has resolution 48 Mpix. The ultra-wide camera uses a sensor 13 Mpix. The “a” line includes advanced photographic functions known from more expensive models. Tool Automatic best shot analyzes a series of frames. The system independently selects the best facial expressions in group photos. On the other hand Photo assistant uses Gemini models to suggest frames and improve lighting.

The camera supports the function “Add me”. The person taking a photo of the group can join the photo in a shot edited by the system. Multimedia files can be transferred to devices with Apple systems via the standard AirDrop. Hardware software supports macro mode and night photos.

The Actua display has a diagonal 6.3 inches. Producer increased its brightness by 11% compared to the previous generation. The front protects the glass Gorilla Glass 7i. The housing with a flat camera island meets this requirement IP68 waterproof standard. It was used for its construction aluminum and recycled plastics. The battery lasts for 30 hours of work. Battery saver mode extends this result up to 120 hours.

Hardware supports satellite emergency calls in places without cellular and Wi-Fi coverage. Google assures seven years of support for this model. Users will receive operating system updates and monthly security patches. The software will be developed in packages Pixel Drop.

Pre-sale of the smartphone starts today. Regular sales will start March 5, 2026. The version with 128 GB memory costs money PLN 2,349. The model with 256 GB of data space was priced at PLN 2,799. There are four color versions to choose from: light gray, obsidian, raspberry and light purple.
