Dexter: Original Sin – the long-awaited prequel to the Dexter series – will be available from January 30 exclusively on SkyShowtime. The new 10-episode thriller tells the story of the birth of America’s favorite serial killer.

The Dexter series attracted viewers to TV screens almost two decades ago (it had been broadcast since 2006). viewers eager for strong experiences drizzled with bloody sauce. Despite the controversy, there was a main character after all serial killer – the series gained a loyal audience, and the character of Dexter Morgan became a permanent fixture in the annals of crime series. Now SkyShowtime announces the long-awaited one for months premiere of the next productionand set in Dexter’s world.
Dexter returns on January 30
The action of the new series Dexter: Original Sin takes place in 1991 in Miami. We follow the fate of young Dexter (Patrick Gibson) and get to know him the path from student to vengeful serial killer. Dexter can no longer ignore his dark desires and must find an outlet for his bloodthirsty instincts.
With guidance from his father, Harry (Christian Slater), adopts the codewhich is to help him find and kill people who do not deserve to live in society – without leaving any traces of crimewhich could lead law enforcement authorities to his trail. This is not an easy challenge for young Dexter, who is just starting a forensic internship with the Miami Police.

In the TV series Dexter: Original Sin also occur Patrick Dempsey, Molly Brown, James Martinez, Christina Milian, Alex Shimizu, Reno Wilson, and Sarah Michelle Gellar in a guest role. Whereas actor known from the first Dexter seriesMichael C. Hall, returns as a voice Dexter Morgan’s now iconic internal monologues.
