Monday afternoons brought an unpleasant surprise to the customers of PKO Bank Polski. Instead of letting them log in to their account, the bank’s app decided to display an error message.

Around 3:00 p.m. on site Downdetector.pl the number of reports from dissatisfied customers has increased dramatically PKO BP. All because they were unable to log in to their account using the IKO application. Although at the time of writing these words the number of reports has been reduced by approximately half, there are still many of them (see the chart below).

The PKO application crashed.
Login and the application have not been working for several hours, and the hotline has not been able to answer anything.
Instead of adding a post about a failure, it is better to brag about sponsoring the event.

PKO Bank Polski knows about the problems and is working to eliminate them. This is evidenced by the bank’s responses to customer reports.
There are random difficulties in accessing the application. We are working to restore full functionality. We apologize!
– we read in one of the bank’s responses on website X
We don’t know when the login problems will go away completely. We can only hope that this will happen soon.
Update (9/12/2024 at 21:21):
The number of reports on the Downdetector.pl website finally dropped to such a level that it could be considered that PKO Bank Polski has dealt with the problems in the IKO application. However, some bank customers still see a message like the one shown above when they try to log in.
