Siri Assistant and Apple Intelligence suite features may use Google Gemini technology this year. Work on improving the proprietary speech recognition system is still ongoing. The company will also focus on the development of built-in development tools. They are intended to facilitate the creation of applications based on machine learning.

Industry analysts predict that iOS 27 will retain the current graphical interface. The system will continue to use a design language known as Liquid Glass. Personnel changes in management positions in the company’s design department did not change this visual direction. The software update will bring modifications created for upcoming devices.

The iOS 27 system code is expected to contain instructions for operating the foldable smartphone model. This confirms previous rumors about Apple working on this screen format. Appropriate software adjustment is a requirement before the future premiere of a new type of equipment. According to news agencies, Apple has delayed the market debut of its new smart home hub. This device must wait until the updated Siri platform is finally completed and deployed to the servers.

Apple traditionally supports the Swift Student Challenge initiative. This is a popular educational program aimed at young code developers and interface designers. The results of this year’s edition will be announced on March 26. Winners will have the opportunity to apply for the June in-person event at Apple Park.

The company will also recognize the 50 best submitted projects. Their authors will receive the title of Distinguished Winners. This group will receive an invitation to a special three-day meeting at the company’s headquarters in California.
