Ulefone surprises with a new armored vehicle. They were similar, but not the same
Chinese battleship manufacturers are no longer competing only in… tank casingsscreen diagonals, memory size or battery capacity, but also for unusual accessories. And it’s not even about such obvious things as a thermal imaging camera or night vision device. No one is surprised anymore by reinforced phones with an additional screen on the back, a camping lamp or a multimedia projector. The latest wave of armor fashion is modular structures, where Oukitel has so far excelled.
Now Ulefone is following suit and announcing a new model RugOne Xsnap 7 Pro. It is also a phone with a modular design, but different from the one shown by Oukitel.
RugOne Xsnap 7 Pro with a sports camera
According to Ulefone’s announcement, RugOne Xsnap 7 Pro is the world’s first armored smartphone integrated with a detachable, magnetic sports camera.
The design of this module draws from solutions known from the Insta360 GO camera series. It is a miniature and completely self-contained camera about the size of your thumb. The camera is hidden in the phone near the camera island, and thanks to special mountings it can be attached, for example, to a helmet or clothes, which will allow first person video recording – without using your hands, even in difficult field conditions. In this ingenious arrangement, the smartphone functions as a docking station, ensuring safe charging of the camera, live frame preview and full recording control.
In addition to the video module, the upcoming Xsnap 7 Pro will offer users promising components. The smartphone will be equipped with AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.67 inches and a resolution of 1.5K, with an image refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Working for a long time away from the socket will provide considerable power battery with a capacity of 9000 mAhalso acting as an energy store for the external camera. The specification of the Xsnap 7 Pro model will also include it 50 Mpix main camera with OIS and a 64 Mpix night vision camera, allowing you to record images in complete darkness.
We will learn the details in a few days at the MWC fair. The official market debut of the RugOne Xsnap 7 Pro model was planned by the manufacturer for mid-2026.
