Samsung, the official partner of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, has prepared a series of documentaries devoted to iconic Olympic disciplines such as skateboarding, breakdancing and surfing.
They will start on July 26, 2024 in Paris Games of the XXXIII Olympiad. The official partner of this event is Samsungwhich he prepared for this occasion a series of documentaries about iconic Olympic disciplines. They were created in cooperation with Street League Skateboarding (SLS), Pro Breaking Tour (PBT) and World Surf League (WSL).
The series consists of three short documentaries. They star such sports legends as: Shaun Thomson, Eric Koston Whether David “Kid David” Shreibmanas well as Olympic athletes Johanne Defay (surfing, France), Sky Brown (skateboarding, UK), Grace “Sunny” Choi (breakdance, USA) and many others.
Concrete Dreams, Breaking Boundaries, The Next Wave.
The documentary “Concrete Dreams” shows the path that skateboarding has taken – from a street sport popular in the 1980s to its formal recognition as a discipline of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. It is also the story of a community united by the overarching principle – respect. It encourages the viewer to look at the world in a different way, inspiring them to constantly create and get back up, no matter how often they fall.
The next films in the series talk about breakdancing and surfing. They will soon be available to watch on Samsung's YouTube channel.
The film triptych is a key element of Samsung's campaign on the occasion of this year's Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 under the slogan “Let Openness Win”. The idea of an open mind that makes anything possible is close to the sports communities that take part in the Games – both current and future.
Samsung supports and celebrates with the skateboarding, breakdancing and surfing communities on their incredible journey to the Olympic stage.
