Vacuum cleaner or mop? Now you don’t have to choose or get dirty
Dyson is redefining the category of washing devices by introducing the Clean+Wash Hygiene model. This is an engineering answer to the biggest disadvantages of electric mops: heavy weight, unpleasant odors and complicated maintenance.
Weighing only 3.82 kg, the device is currently the lightest equipment on the market for simultaneous vacuuming and washing of hard floors. However, it is not the weight but hygiene that is the key differentiator here.
Revolutionary filterless system
Dyson breaks with the tradition of using filters, which in “wet & dry” devices often become a breeding ground for bacteria and mold. The Clean+Wash Hygiene model uses an innovative separation system. All contaminants – from spilled liquids to dry waste and hair – are captured directly in the cleaning head.
Dirty water is not sucked into the upper part of the body or pipes, which eliminates the risk of clogging the system and creating an unpleasant odor. All head elements can be quickly rinsed under running water if necessary, and there is no need to wait for them to dry. We pay attention and that’s it.
A roll unlike anything else on the market
The heart of the device is an ultra-absorbent microfiber roll (84,000 fibers per cm²), enriched with nylon bristles. Rotating at a speed of 250 times per minute, it removes dried stains while separating hair thanks to special combs.
As James Dyson emphasizes, the key to no streaks is to constantly wash the roller with clean water – the dirty liquid is immediately drained and the floor is only in contact with fresh solution. Thanks to its extremely low profile (113 mm) and the ability to work in a completely flat position, the mop can easily fit under low furniture.
It will wash itself and dry in 30 minutes
After cleaning is completed (up to 350 m² on one tank), the docking station carries out a self-cleaning cycle. Importantly, the roll is finally dried with hot air (85°C), which guarantees its full hygiene and readiness for the next use. What’s important – drying takes only 30 minutes! That’s right, you won’t hear any noise for 3 hours after washing the floor.
The Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene device, compatible with the new Dyson 02 Probiotic liquid, is now available for sale for PLN 2,099 on the manufacturer’s website. The equipment should soon be available in electromarkets.
