A major breakthrough in mathematics teaching is coming. Students in grades 4, 5 and 6 of primary school will learn this subject with the help of artificial intelligence. The program, which was developed by scientists from the Warsaw University of Technology, will cover 50 thousand students.

Smart math – online notebook. What is this?

It is nothing else than the “Zeszyt Online” platform that works directly in a web browser. The entire teaching process is personalized by AI and individually adapted to each student. Thanks to this, each student has the best possible tasks. And this is also the main advantage of the program – it can be used by students at any level. The online notebook allows you to equalize the opportunities for students – financial potential or the issue of tutoring are less important.

Thanks to advanced algorithms, the online notebook program stimulates students to think and develops their cognitive processes, logical thinking and associating information.

– explains Katarzyna Lubnauer, deputy minister of education.

On November 5, the agreement regarding this program was signed by Deputy Minister of Education Katarzyna Lubnauer and the Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology, Prof. Krzysztof Zaręba.

The value of the “Intelligent mathematics – online notebook” program is estimated at PLN 6 million. The program will cover 50,000 students of grades 4, 5 and 6 of primary schools.

The program is already being implemented in some local governments, including Warsaw, and has brought very good results. Young people clearly improved their results, e.g. in the eighth-grade exam.
