Civil War – what is it about?
The plot is quite depressing. We are witnessing the USA on the brink of collapse. Corruption is flourishing and even the president is not a trustworthy person. He calls the citizens to fight and starts a kind of civil war. Kirsten Dunst, as a war photographer (Kate Winslet is also a war photographer in Lee’s latest film) is trying to get to Washington and her mission is to conduct the last interview with the head of state. She is accompanied by a young and inexperienced journalist, Jessie (played by Cailee Spaeny).
