Telewizja Polska has been gradually improving the quality of its streaming stations for weeks. All versions of TVP3 have already been upgraded to higher resolution and higher frame rates.
Polish Television keeps up with the times and improves the quality of broadcasting content from its streaming stations. As reported by the portal Wirtualnemedia.plapplies to:
- application TVP VOD for mobile devices, TVs and Smart TV set-top boxes,
- application TVP Go for mobile devices and HbbTV in digital terrestrial television,
- websites vod.tvp.pl and stream.tvp.pl.
The process had been going on for several weeks and involved gradually increasing the frame rate from 25 per second up to 50 per second. This has a positive effect on image smoothness and his more realistic look, which is especially useful when watching broadcasts of sports events and dynamic scenes in films or series. Additionally, public television channels began to broadcast in streaming resolution 1080p. For example, currently all versions of TVP3 are already available in HD quality and transmit images at 50 frames per second.
