Spotify is raising prices again. Who will pay more?

The price is up, but fortunately not everywhere

Polish users can sleep peacefully for now – any announced changes do not apply to our market. The prices set as a result of the last increase in April 2025 remain valid for now. However, it is no secret that the costs of digital services offered by Spotify are increasing day by day. With each increase, Spotify tests its users how much they are willing to pay to listen to music in comfort and without interruptions.

Spotify service increase. Who will it reach this time?

We already know that Polish subscribers will not suffer, and this is good news at the beginning of the year. However, the Swedish streaming giant announced that it has planned higher Premium subscription prices in three markets. The new price list will come into force in February, i.e. in 11 days. The biggest change concerns the United States, where the price of the monthly service will increase the most, by as much as one dollar – instead of $11.99, subscribers will pay $12.99.

The increases will also apply to two European countries: Estonia and Latvia.

From next month, the prices of the service will change. Premium subscribers from the USA, Estonia and Latvia are already receiving e-mails with information about new prices that will come into force with the new billing period.

Spotify said in a statement.

Spotify, as always, explains the need for a raise with the desire to further develop, improve profitability and maintain the quality of the services provided. Of course, you can always use the free version of the website, but it has some limitations – more ads and lack of access to all application functions.
