Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra now online. Just before the premiere

The published photos and videos show the Galaxy S26 Ultra model in a new white color variant. The device looks exceptionally clean and elegant in natural lighting. Despite fans’ previous concerns about abandoning titanium in favor of aluminum, the first opinions indicate a very high quality of workmanship. The phone should look as luxurious as its predecessor.

Direct comparisons with the iPhone 17 Pro and the latest OnePlus and Vivo flagships show that Samsung focused on a proven but refined style. Also noteworthy is the refreshed S Pen stylus, which – according to the latest reports – still does not offer Bluetooth connectivity.

The biggest new feature captured on video is the Privacy Display function. This is a hardware and software solution that makes the content displayed on the screen unreadable when viewed from an angle. Thanks to this, people standing next to us on the bus or in a cafe will not see what we are doing on the phone.

Unlike stick-on privacy films, Samsung’s solution does not deteriorate the brightness or color quality for a person looking straight ahead. The device settings also include a maximum protection mode, which is intended to further limit viewing angles. This function will be able to be activated automatically in public places or only in selected banking applications.

Unfortunately, owners of older Samsung flagships will not receive this new feature with the system update. Privacy Display is based on the specific properties of the M14 OLED panels, which debut in the Galaxy S26 series. Older M13 screens, installed in the Galaxy S25 series, among others, do not have the appropriate pixel structure to support this technology.

The first performance tests conducted on the unit from Dubai are optimistic. Despite the enormous computing power, the smartphone has no problems with excessive heating, which was a problem with some previous generations.

The official presentation of all new products will take place in just two days during the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event.
